Expansion of sports opportunities for people with disabilities in Gabrovo

In Gabrovo, a joint initiative was organized between the local rugby club, coaches and players with disabilities. The aim of this collaboration was to reduce the barrier to the participation of people with disabilities in sport by ensuring equal participation opportunities for all.

The organization of local trainings, under the VARIED project, financed by the Erasmus+ program, proved to be a valuable tool to achieve the goal. These trainings allowed the coaches to apply the knowledge and skills they had acquired during the developed courses.
