The event takes place between October 18th and 19th in the Austrian capital, laying the foundation for an initiative championed by Cullera, further expanding its leadership in European projects, as highlighted by the local authority.
Mayor has also emphasized that “precisely, this was one of the objectives of opening the Cullera European Office, which was established during the previous term, the first in the region.” Since then, the town has secured European funding exceeding several million euros. This financial injection has also served to boost and promote various sectors such as sports and tourism.
In this case, it is worth noting Cullera’s experience in the inclusive rugby world, with notable actions like the International Inclusive Rugby Festival. This initiative is organized in collaboration with Trust Rugby International Spain and involves the participation of Espurna Association and the volunteers from Cullera Rugby Club. The festival celebrated its fourth edition in the tourist capital last September.
The European program, which aims to integrate all individuals into a healthy social environment through rugby practice, will conclude with a closing festival in September 2022 in Cullera. Participating in this event will be all these countries along with various special guests from the internationally renowned rugby community.
