On October 15, 2022, the VARIED rugby festival was held at the “Smirnenski” stadium in Gabrovo, with all local participants in the project.
The event was a festival of volunteering and social inclusion involving volunteers, players with and without learning disabilities, stakeholders as well as the general public. The project team as well as the rugby club have shown their work so far. Through a friendly match, we showed progress and attracted new volunteers.
At the end of the training and the match, we distributed participation certificates to both players and volunteers.
The festival was an opportunity to show real inclusion in a social and festive atmosphere.
