National Inclusive Rugby Tournament

VARIED

Barcelona 10 December 2022

On the 10th of December the Spanish Rugby Federation in collaboration with the Club and the UE Santboiana Foundation and the Catalan Federation will celebrate the “I National Inclusive Rugby Tournament”. The aim is to promote the growth of inclusive rugby in Spain and achieve the development of its full potential with special emphasis on collaboration with entities, Autonomous Federations and Clubs.

This competition will mark a turning point, as for the first time a National Tournament will be played in the competition modality for this oval category. Of course, special attention will be paid to the learning levels of rugby and the use of tools that support the activation of the rules to link it to the development of the players. The competition will be run on a participatory system, with each team playing 3 matches per day.

The Inclusive Rugby Team El Clan of Trust Rugby International Spain, Fundació Espurna and Rugby Cullera has participated in the I National Inclusive Rugby Tournament held in Santboi on 10 December 2022.

In the same weekend, Michael Artiles, trainer of the National School of Coaches of the Spanish Rugby Federation has taught a new edition of the Inclusive Rugby Coach course organized by the FER.

Much more than rugby: on our trips there is always time to share moments off the field. Moments where we all enjoy ourselves and share smiles. Undoubtedly, everything starts in rugby but there is much more than rugby in our trips and in our project.

A thousand thanks to @fundacioespurna for your complicity and patience with everything we do and propose.

And training: within the framework of the 1st National Inclusive Rugby Tournament held in Santboi on the 10th of December, our development director @mike.artiles as a trainer of the National School of Coaches of @ferugby has taught a new edition of the Inclusive Rugby Coaching Course organised by the Spanish Rugby Federation. In @trustrugbyspain we firmly believe that training is the factor that will ensure the evolution of inclusive rugby and a fundamental part for its sustainability.
